The Thomas Aveling School has staff members trained to deliver the ‘Group Teen Triple P’ programme.
Children don’t come with a manual and usually parents find their way through the minefield of child-rearing through a combination of their own childhood experiences, through friends’ advice, through what they find on Google or through trial and error. Joining a Teen Triple P group programme will equip you with a toolbox of strategies so that you can select which strategies work for you and your family in creating a happier, more positive and mentally healthy family life. The Triple P programme at Thomas Aveling is suitable for ALL parents/guardians of teenagers who would like some guidance, tips and insights into their teen’s behaviour.
What is Triple P?
The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program ® is one of the world’s most effective parenting programs.
It gives parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to build stronger family relationships. It also helps parents manage misbehaviour and prevent problems occurring in the first place.
With more than 30 years of ongoing research, Triple P has been scientifically trialled with thousands of families around the world and been found to work for most families within a wide variety of cultures, countries and individual situations. Triple P has helped more than four million children and their families in 25 countries around the world.
