Kent School Girls Individual table Tennis Tournament

Five U13’s girls represented The Thomas Aveling School at the Kent School Individual Table Tennis Tournament at the Howard School on Tuesday 29th January.

The girls were put into groups to decide whether they would be progressing into the main event or the consolation competition. The girls put on some great performances and fought hard in their group matches as some  had to play each other for places in the event. Stephanie and Millie  went through to the consolation competition with Stephanie playing some great shots to come 1st and win the Gold medal.

Lily, Scarlett and Katie O’Dwyer went through to the main competition. Both Katie and Scarlett played some tightly contested matches against an England ranked player and worked hard for every point. They both showed great determination in their performance and were successful in coming 2nd and 3rd respectively to win the Silver and Bronze medal.

Another successful event for the Thomas Aveling Table Tennis team – well done to all the girls for being such superstars.
