Great performances included:
Wiktoria Wolf – 6A*-A and 8 C+ grades overall despite only arriving in the country 2 years ago, Rahaf Satouf with 9A*-A and 13 C+ grades, Katie Bridge with 7A*-A and 11 overall, Melvin Kachere with 6 and 12 respectively, Summer Shields with 6A*-A and 11 overall, Jack Bennett with 5 and 13, Aimee Green with 5 and 11 and Emily Edwardes with 5 A*-A grades and 11 C+ grades.
Paul Jackson, Head Teacher said ”I am absolutely delighted for the students and staff who worked so hard for these results – it really was a whole school effort. Students took part in hundreds of revision classes after school, in the holidays and over weekends, they even came to the library from 6pm to 8pm in the final month before their exams started to focus on achieving record breaking results. The progress that children have made in the time they have been with us is exceptional and means that many more than expected will be able to stay with us to study advanced level course but will also be able to start on higher level courses at College or gain places on really competitive apprenticeships, whatever they decide to do I wish them well”.
