So, you're finally here; all those times that staff said your first five years in school would fly by, and you didn't believe them - well, it's official you're now year 11s! The main focus this year is to complete GCSE and GNVQ courses. The majority of GCSE examinations take place in May and June; you will sit practical examinations prior to this. Many courses, for example Science and vocational subjects, will have already had external modules and examinations.

Your Mock examinations take place over two weeks from 4th December, however subjects with practical aspects host their mock examinations as early as 18th October.

Parents Evening will take place on 16th November this year where parents are invited to meet with the subject teachers. Academic mentoring day is another opportunity to meet your form tutor with your parents to discuss target grades.
