Health and Social Care is a three year Level 2 BTEC qualification that is an exploration into the health and well-being of individuals. The course offers students a chance to investigate a range of services, organisations and roles within the health, social and early year’s sectors.
Students will be able to examine how people develop physically and investigate how different factors such as diversity and culture have an impact on that development. Our health and social care course encourages students to develop a critical and analytical approach to problem-solving, to become effective and independent learners. The course will also help prepare students for working in a range of different careers within health and social care. Students will also be able to progress on to further studies in this area.
