How to apply
The Sixth Form is open to Thomas Aveling students and applications are accepted from students attending other schools. We expect students to have FIVE GCSE passes at grade C or above before beginning two year courses, GCSE passes at grade E and above, for the one year intermediate courses and GCSE passes at grade F and above for one year foundation courses. Students must realise that advanced courses demand work at a high level. They require substantially more hours of study than GCSE courses. We cannot guarantee that a course will run for each subject listed until we know the demand but all applicants will be kept fully informed should any change occur. Only in an exceptional case will a course be cancelled. Application and pre-entry proceduresDecember 2007Study the Prospectus carefully and/or www.yourchoiceat16.co.uk website and discuss your proposed application with your parents and Form Tutor.
