War Horse Trip
On Wednesday 6th March the Year 10 and 12 Performing Arts group went to see the touring National Theatre production of “War Horse” at the Marlow Theatre in Canterbury.
The students enjoyed the show immensely and definitely had an emotional response to the way that war was depicted. The life-size puppets of the horses were incredible and so lifelike that the students commented that they forgot they were not watching a real horse within minutes of them appearing on stage. The students were also lucky enough to meet the lead actor Scott Miller (who played Albert Narracott) outside the theatre and had their photograph taken with him.
