Step out for Stroke Association
In December 2016 our Teaching Assistant Debbie Jones suffered a terrible stroke. After several months Debbie is recovering slowly, although the sensation in her hands still remains low.
Despite Debbie's physical and mental suffering, as a result of the stroke, Debbie decided she wanted to raise money for the Stroke Association, a charity which continues to help Debbie through weekly meetings as well as general care.
On Sunday, Debbie along with her daughter and other Thomas Aveling TAs Nicki Jewiss and Helen Dodson, successfully completed the Capstone Park walk despite temperatures soaring to 30 degrees.
Well done to Debbie and her team we are extremely proud of you. Debbie, you are an inspiration to us all!
There's still time to donate too - head to the below just giving page link!
