STEM Day 2017
This week Thomas Aveling School held their 2nd annual STEM day.
Students worked in their form groups and attended 4 different workshops from a number of STEM (science, maths, engineering and technology) facilitators throughout the day.
Workshops ranged from the National Grid, learning about renewable energy, talks about NASA and how to create a protective shield to lorry logistics with XPO logistics.
Forms were divided into teams so house points can be awarded during the sessions.
Who will be the winners of the STEM cup this year? Results will be announced soon!
