Remembrance Day events
We honoured Remembrance Day with staff and students participating in a two minutes’ silence at 11am.
We also reflected and remembered on what was the first anniversary of the tragic loss of Victory student Hannah Evans after a short illness suffering from Meningitis. Hannah and her family remain very much in our thoughts.
Our 6th formers held a non-uniform day, and were very active all day in school fundraising by selling wristbands and collecting donations for Meningitis NOW with an amazing £316.90 collected in Hannah's memory.
We will be holding another fundraising day in January for all students and staff with everyone being invited to wear LIPSTICK for the day in Hannah's memory to raise further funds for Meningitis NOW.
As many of our students know, Hannah will always be remembered for her love of bright lipstick so this fundraising event is going to be very special indeed.
