Dance

Dance is a stimulating and enjoyable subject; it is very popular and successful as students will get the chance to work with others and share ideas.

In Dance students are encouraged to be adventurous, think differently and be creative working in groups or individually.

Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of Dance from a wide range of styles and cultures. We aim to motivate and inspire students to show their emotions through practical work.

Each practical module studied will involve 3 main components:

  • Choreography
  • Performance
  • Appreciation

We aim to make the students' learning in Dance enjoyable and creative. They will be challenged both individually and as a group, in the showing of emotion and imagination in creative and meaningful ways.
