The Drama department has a wide range of productions scheduled for the 2007/8 academic year. Following the success of last years main school production "e;Grease"e;, we will be putting on the Lionel Bart musical "e;Oliver"e; in the school hall on the 19th and 20th of December from 7.00pm. Auditions are on Tuesday 11th September from 3.15 again in the hall. Unfortunately, we can not include year 11 in the production this year, however, everyone else is welcome to audition. We are especially looking forward to seeing what talent we have in our new year 7 year group.

The year 10 BTEC Performing Arts group will be taking out pantomimes, written by themselves, to local feeder schools in December. While our year 11 group are busy preparing for a “workshop” performance of the musical “Bugsy Malone”, which is provisionally scheduled for the 19th March.

The year 13 GCE group are performing a version of John Godbers play "e;Bouncers"e; in the Drama studio on Wednesday 17th October from 6.00pm, if you are interested in attending, then please contact Mr Dawson at the school as the audience is by invitation only.
