The Thomas Aveling School and Community Library

The Thomas Aveling School and Community Library is a unique partnership serving both the school and the local community.

In addition to a comprehensive and extensive non-fiction collection, selected to support the curriculum and general research, a wide range of all genres of fiction aims to promote reading for pleasure to all age-groups - pre-school to adult.

Students and staff have access to a designated sixth form and staff development resources area, careers information and material to support the teaching of PSHE.

18 computers and the ability to access and reserve items on-line from any public Library in the Medway area via the on-line Library Catalogue, ensure this is one of the best learning environments in the area. To access the catalogue from home or school, go to http://libcat.medway.gov.uk.
