Welcome to the updated Activity Prospectus! We have been busy, putting into practice your ideas and comments and are continuing to lay on activities for the whole community, not only for students at Warren Wood and Thomas Aveling.
We have run:
- A Young Drivers' Course for 16s-19s
- Family Literacy Classes for parents & Yr7s
- Adult Education activities (adults!)
- Lunchtime club in Woodies Youth Centre (Yr11s)
- Continued to offer our Training Room and Conference facilities to the local community
- After School Activity Group for Yrs 6-8
Extended Services is all about serving the whole local community in and around the Warren Wood and Thomas Aveling areas. We recognize that the schools have different facilities that it can offer to those around—so we thought we’d offer our services to everybody!
During the past year, we have offered:
- Parenting Groups
- Young Drivers Course
- Adult Education
- Family Literacy
- Family Numeracy
- Library Services
- Wraparound Childcare
- Breakfast Club (for Warren Wood)
- A range of After School activities for students
- Youth Club activities via Woodies Youth Centre
