As part of the Medway group of public libraries, The Thomas Aveling School and Community Library offers students the best facilities for independent learning and reading for pleasure. Students are encouraged to help out during break and lunchtimes. Student Library Assistants can be found manning the desk, dealing with enquiries from other students and staff. The Library is open to Thomas Aveling students during the school day to help with research and projects, and to allow reading for fun in a pleasant environment.
The Community Library is open to members of the public from 3.00p.m. until 6.00 p.m. every weekday throughout the year and every Saturday from 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.
